Help mapping Rice Genome

I hate to do this to everyone in the group, but I'm stuck and I'm not sure
where to go next.

I've been given a project to map our rice genome (BAC contigs, markers,
sequence information, BAC orientation, etc.) into acedb. I'm new to ace,
and I'm not a biologist (I'm an engineer/programmer), needless to say I'm a
bit overwhelmed. I've looked through the RiceGenes5 and RICEDB databases
trying to figure out what model we should use and how best to go about
getting our data in acedb. It's important that we're able to generate a
pMap -- but I can't seem to figure out what information is critical to
generating the maps.

Is there anyone out there that can help? What should my next steps be?
