Jeff's post has one minor inaccuracy..he notes that acoustic tumors
arise "within the brainstem"..this is certainly true for some...but
others are so-called extra-axial tumors that arrise from positions
external to the brainstem...for example they can grow within the
internal auditory canal...actually the most liely spot to find them is
at the CP angle......hope this adds to the discussion....tnd
