This is a subject near and dear to my heart. As a second year audiologist
who will graduate in May, I have begun thinking about the CFY. In NC (as
it seems in a lot of places from looking at help wanted ads), there are
very few CFY positions. Since I have a husband who is only halfway through
his college career and who postponed finishing so he could work while I
went to school, I need to find a job after graduation whether it be in
audiology or retail (YUCK!). In retail I get paid $6.00 per hour, so I
would probably be grateful to make anything decent for doing what I love
(audiology).
