Terri, I have had the same problem with an ITE fitting. The loss I fit
was moderate to severe high frequency sensorineural for both ears. He
would state it sounded great but after a few hours he felt his hearing
would decrease. I checked the Widex quattro aids out and they were fine.
He never came in with the problem so I could not test his hearing at the
time of the complaint. The ITEs were vented so that rules out pressure. I
wonder if some sort of adaptation is occuring. Maybe a lower MPO would
reduce the TTS. If this is a real TTS.
