cerumen management

I use the vacume system on soft cerumen.  On the hard or crusty version, I
have found that the small alligator clamp that most ENT's have around the
office does wonders.  It is small enough to fit through an otoscope
specula, so you have a means of "targeting" the cerumen.  These puppies
are not cheap though.  A decent one goes for about $250.00 at a surgical
supply house.  If you find yourself doing a lot of cerumen removal, they
are worth the money!
