Digital Hearing aid

Ramjee Raghavan,

Currently only two companies make fully digital aids-Oticon and Widex.
The Widex Senso now has a high power model, but I have not yet dispensed
any so I can't give any first-hand information. Oticon's digital
behind-the-ear is not as powerful as their 380P model, but I have fit it
successfully even on severe losses. Your best bet is to see an
audiologist who can evaluate your hearing needs and determine the best
model for you. I have personally called Oticon requesting information
about a power model, and they were unable to give me any definite
information. I heard from my factory representative that plans for a
power model weren't even necessarily in the works. I've had great
success with digitals, so good luck.
