Not all programmable hearing instruments work the same way. Regarding
noise the best yet system to improve Signal-to-Noise ratio is the
multiple microphone technology such as is implemented in the Phonak
AudioZoom instruments.
This has been proven both in laboratory, clinical and consumer
satisfaction studies.
