Position Title: Earmold Technician
Salary:  30-35K

GENERAL SUMMARY OF THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position is responsible for all functions within the Earmold lab. This
includes manufacture of all types of earmolds from start to finish. Cutting,
detailing, waxing impressions as well as finishing and shipping the. final
product will be duties this position will perform. Responsible for use of
appropriate machines and supplies within the lab to produce molds.

Description of Essential Duties:
Use a variety of hand and Machine tools to:
Cut and detail impressions to be used in for the appropriate model of molds.
Wax and invest molds for negative casting process
Identify, mix and pour appropriate material for molding process
Know and understand the application of all molds produced within the
department Process the shipment of new product earmolds
Work cooperatively and respectfully with other lab technicians
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as
assigned. Check and verify quality.
Support corporate health and safety objectives.

Performance of Duties
Knowledge, skills and abilities required for performance of essential
duties:

Education: Ability to read and understand written procedures required.

Experience:
1. 5-8 years ear mold production or experience within the earmold  business
2. Some management experience
3. Ability to understand complex instructions and follow procedures.
4. Ability to cooperate in a team environment required.
5. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
6. Excellent attention to detail required.
7. Demonstrate high attention to detail required

Equipment Operation:
Hand Lathe; Hand Drill; Abrasive Stones; Polishing Ragwheel and Compound;
Adhesives; Polymers and Monomers.

Responsibilities:
Inside company: Communicates regularly with supervisor verbally with regard
to clarification of work assignments, procedures, new ideas, etc. Regularly
communicates and will be required to build relationships with all co-workers
within the department as well as shipping and receiving.

WORKING  CONDITIONS
Regular attendance and responsiveness to reasonable job-related directives
as given by the supervisor.

Physical Demands
Normal Lab conditions. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.. required.
