One of our local Sports Heroes (Jonah Lomu) has won a car with the "loudest"
car stereo and the local press have asked one of our customers whether it
could cause hearing loss. Obviously if played loud enough and long enough
there is that risk.
We wondered whether any audiologist or ENTs had any personal knowledge /
case evidence (or literature reference) for noise induced hearing loss
caused by car stereos?
Thank you for the information.
