I'm seeking specific info (or references) on the breakdown of hearing loss
types (cond, SN, etc.) and degree (mild, mod, etc.) specifically for
children under two years of age. Are there any stats out there collected
for age groups under two? According to Cameron (1997) in J. Comm. Dis.,
age-stratified data is not really available for kids under 3. I have done
a lot of internet searches, as well as checking Medline for this specific
data, but I've been unsuccessful (i.e. finding the prevalence numbers from
these too vague).
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
