You actually can use either the red or blue labeled cables for either side -
the cables are not coded internally to reflect a particular side; they are just
color coded with their tags to do so. So if you have two red tagged or two
blue tagged you can still plug them into either socket and program your
instruments. Only the hearing aids are programmed for side.
