I had a diving accident in Dec 1999. Since the accident I've had total
hearing loss in my right ear. The doctors I have seen came to the
conclusion that the hearing loss was because of decompression sickness
(I was in a decompression chamber for five and a half hours) - and not a
pressure related injury. It was only deafness up to about two months
ago, but now I am experiencing constant pain in my ear and head, loss of
balance, vertigo and tinnitus. I am in South Africa. Can anybody refer
me to a practicioner in South Africa who would know about diving
accidents - or maybe somebody has suggestions to stop the pain. Any
help would be appreciated
Thank you
Colette
