Hi everyone,
I have just received my first hearing aid - a consequence of an unsuccessful
attempt at a stapedectomy operation.
I still get that pounding in head and for some strange reason I thought this
would lessen if i could hear better. It comes and it goes. Sometimes this
pounding begins very softy and then reaches a peak where it drowns out
everything else. If there any truth that my diet could be contributing to
the problem and what could I do to fix the problem.
Also how long does it take one to adjust to a hearing aid?
Also I'm a bit worried about not hearing the goings on outside my house
while asleep... are there any devices that cover this sort of thing?
Thanks for your time
Valda
