Hi,

I'm an audio engineer, and its unlikely that there are subliminal messages
buried in sounds, or music...

However, if you are sure, then fair enough... you can try running the output
from the cassette player through a filter network either in a software based
system on a computer, or a hardware filter, to try to isolate frequency
range it occurs in. Another thing you can so is to perform a "fast fourier
transform" on a section of the audio which you think contains the message
and have a look to see if any frequency stands out over others, but this is
quite a complex operation and needs some pretty high end programs.

I doubt this helps because its not the easiest thing to do, but maybe you
know what i mean :)
