Hah!!!, and mea culpa! and :-) and how about background=bright puce!!

Seriously, how about an inverted character for 'black' (white on black)
and the hydrophilics in b on w?

I guess all these mods get harder and harder for editors/displays, though
I haven't used green for anything - could use green=hydrophilic/small, though
there's no easy way to remember that
