In the Edit menu of MS Word there is a command 'Copy as Picture'
(CMND-OPT-D). It copies the selection to the Clipboard in PICT format. Do
not forget to hide paragraph marks (CMND-J) before copying.
This command is available already in the version 4 (and probably 3) of MS
Word, but only as a command key combination unless you add it by yourself
into the menu (by using the 'Commands' command).
