Most EST and SAGE related functions have been re-written to improve speed.
A new feature has been added to the collection of SAGE programs which allows you to directly view up
and down regulation of genes as revealed by tag files at different developmental stages.
The clustalw interface now supportes direct data transfer to GeneDoc for further annotation and
analysis of multi-sequence alignments.
The generation of user defined protein and DNA data bases (with formatdb, NCBI) and local blast
search (with the five blast programs, also NCBI) now works very well and complements the search
functions previously included with DNATools.
The demo version of DNATools can be used free of charge for extendable periods of 3 months.
Visit the DNATools home page for further details.
