Our server presents the research themes from our lab (Pr. Michel Jouvet,
INSERM U52 and CNRS URA 1195, Lyon, FRANCE) devoted to the study of the
sleep-waking cycle. Our aim is to determine the function of sleep and
dreaming and to identify the brain structures with a role in the
generation of the different states of vigilance. We present hypertext
versions of our articles and some pictures and videos on the neuroanatomy
of the brain and from experimentations on sleep. We will also present
comprehensive reviews from the Pr. Michel Jouvet on the function of
dreaming and sleep.
