Announcing Kimball's Biology Pages on the web.
The URL is:

Kimball's Biology Pages consist of a list of topics, arranged
alphabetically, of biological terms. Although the terms are mostly
from the areas of molecular and cellular biology, there are many
items that treat environmental and health issues. Each item is
defined, and many are linked to illustrated mini-essays on the
topic.
Although the topics have been selected and written to be appropriate
for a beginning college biology student, there are also items
created specifically for those with a general interest in the
environment and topics in human health.
While this site is still under construction (and will be
indefinitely), you may find it worthwhile to examine it now. Some of
the topics now available include: acid rain, agent orange, cancer,
cholesterol, chromosomes, DNA, ecosystem productivity, epidemiology,
genetics, mutations, oncogenes, ozone, protein structure, radiation,
recommended dietary allowances, recombinant DNA, transgenic animals,
vaccines.
I welcome any comments and suggestions that you may have.
