Now that the CASP5 (http://predictioncenter.llnl.gov/casp5/)
prediction season is finally over, we are announcing the availability
of our new server for predicting protein structure: SAM-T02 is
available at
http://www.soe.ucsc.edu/research/compbio/HMM-apps/T02-query.html
In our tests, it does much better that our previous server (SAM-T99).
Both servers are included in the on-going LiveBench test
(http://bioinfo.pl/LiveBench/), which confirms that the new server is
doing much better than the old, and provides some of the most accurate
alignments of all the servers tested (look at LiveBench's LG1 score).
People wishing to include our server in a meta-server should contact
us for permission---the service is rather compute-intensive, and we'd
prefer not to have to install limitations on its use.
