I am a Masters student working with several cyanobacteria, bot filamentous and
singled celled. I am trying to isolate and analyze the thick slime/sheath
layer surrounding the cells. I have had very little success with chemical and
physical manipulations.
If anyone has found a successful protocol for doing this please let me know. I
am very willing to share any info that I have!
