There may be so non-studued direction, which seems a little bit fantastic
one but has good and evident biological base :
INFORMATIONAL STRUCTURE OF MICROBIAL BIOFILM .
This structure ,especially in the fungal biofilm, may be similar to the
structure of neuron net, especially being combined with the external
artificial intelligent system. A pattern of the 3D- gradients of
chemical regulators within the microbial biofilm may be considered as
the first level of organization of its informational structure and its
memory.
