A few questions about flow conditions.
[1] At what Reynolds no. does the shear stress become to great for
biofilms on flat smooth surfaces (i.e when sloughing occurs)?
[2] Does any body have an equation that links Reynolds no. and substrate
uptake in biofilms, and an equation linking Reynolds no. to mass
transfer boundary layer thickness.
