It is always amazing how much effort gets expended in trying to
achieve a 'definition'! However it does look as if many people are
merely using their own specific biofilsm as examples.
Can we safely use streamers when we do not know if all biofilms
behave in this way?
Can we really include quorum sensing. How many papers on biofilms
have clearly demonstrated a role for it?
Keep the definition simple and workable (and creditable).
