Post-Doc position

To anyone interested........

I have a 'free' (that is not as yet tied to any project) Post Doc for two 
years starting asap in Cardiff University, School of Biology. The job will 
probably be either looking at aspects of microbial aggregate (e.g. biofilm) 
formation using the Individual Based Modelling program Bacsim, in 
conjunction with its author, Jan Kreft, who has worked with me for more 
than four years but is now moving to Bonn.

Or it will involve the use of the constant depth film fermenter to 
investigate the physiology, structure and function of steady state biofilm. 
There may be other options!

The first possibility will need a competent programmer well versed in Java, 
preferably with a microbiological interest! The second is well suited to a 
competent experimental microbiologist.
