An international conference on Biofouling and Materials will be held on
June 10-13, 2001 in Frankfurt am Main. It is organized by DECHEMA
together with GfKORR, IBS and EFC and is the annual workshop of the
European research action COST 520 Biofouling and Materials. The
conference should cover all aspects of the topics Biofilm Basics,
Biofouling, Biocides, Materials Problems and Monitoring. The preliminary

programme including keynotes on these topics by several international
experts is attached in plain text format. More information can be found
at http://www.dechema.de/biofouling. 1-page-abstracts for oral or poster

presentations should be sent as soon as possible to Mrs. Wu at DECHEMA
congress office (wu at dechema.de).

I hope to meet some of you in Frankfurt!
Best regards,
