A Practical Approach to Identifying and Solving Microbially Influenced
Production Problems
An Online Short Course offered on http://www.CorrosionSource.com

The purpose of this on-line course on A PRACTICAL APPROACH TO IDENTIFYING
AND SOLVING MICROBIALLY INFLUENCED PRODUCTION PROBLEMS is to provide the
basic, updated information necessary for the intelligent, technically
competent and cost effective handling of these problems when they occur on
the upstream side in the petroleum industry. The information is presented
for use and application by the practicing field production engineers,
corrosion engineers and technicians involved in controlling microbially
related problems in oilfield production. The principal responsibilities of
these individuals is not to identify, count or even kill microorganisms,
but to effectively control microbially related problems, such as corrosion,
material degradation, loss of injectivity or production souring, taking
place in the oilfield environment. Continuing education credits will be
provided through affliation with an accredited university to those
successfully completing the online course. The first lecture is provided FREE.
