I would like to open a string on Biofilm Education. I would be interested
in any or all of the following:
People who currently teach a biofilms course of a significant biofilm
component in a micro class.
Syllabi or topic lists for biofilm units.
Topic lists in some sort of priority
Lists of biofilm related laboratory exercises:
now existing or
ideas of one which could/should be created
lists of the best biofilm sites on the web, (including this one of
course).
Also web sites that contain biofilm and related images or
powerpoint frames.
Ideas for home built quipment for teaching about Biofilms
Sources for unusual or hard to find matierials and equipment, for
example the square capillary
tubing made by Friedrich and Dimmock that is just right for making
flow cells that cah be viewed
under the microsccope in real time.
I hope others will be interested in this topic. I have a variety of
things I would be willing to share.
