Scientific programme

In the new Millennium our society will be confronted with the increasing
importance of Hygiene and Hygiene in relation to health. Therefore, as the
Chairman of the Organizing Committee, I am proud to announce the Second
International Symposium DISINFECTION & HYGIENE - Future prospects.

The symposium is dedicated to hygiene and disinfection and their role in
public health. It will address both scientific and professional
developments in the following conference sessions:

1. Progress in methodology on hygiene and disinfection
2. Biofilms and its hygienic consequences
3. Physiological aspects of disinfectants
4. Specific topics of practical importance
This symposium is supported by the International Biodeterioration Society.
