As all of you have noted, we have recently been the target of adverts. The
only way we have to stop (subsidising) these is to email the advert back to
the originator with a copy to his postmaster. It would also help to write a
polite message explaining to these people that it is us (or our
institutions) that are paying for these adverts and we do not want to receive
them. Also remind them that you will mail back any more adverts. Filling these
guys mailboxes up is the only way to leave this newsgroup free of adverts.
