I am coming back to my previous question, and some answers I got from the group.
For example Len Pattenden was suggesting to look for web sites for electron
microscopy in order to find the answer. But my question had a different flavour.

I guess I have to be more clear. The point is that in any reconstruction (of
whatever metabolic-genetic network, system biology approach) space, and structure,

are fundamental. To date I know of no effort to put data on the web in a
formalized
way. And, by the way, at the recent meeting on System Biology at Caltech the
problem
was not raised that much. Few speakers treated space implicitly, but no explicit
discussion of the problem.

To me they seems fundamental, does anybody know of any initiative in this
respect, is anybody interested in beginning one ? To do useful simulations you
need
the context. For what my knowledge is concerned there are plenty of such data, but

are usually wasted, people do not bother to repeat with current techniques old
experiments, or better they likely do repeat them but do not publish the results.
Moreover formalization of these data is difficult.

So, I believe it could be useful to start an organized collection. Any ideas ?
I very well know that the problem is huge, that's why I do not even think for a
moment of doing it by myself. But still it is a basic problem.
