C. elegans codon preference table

The above post reminded me of our off hand observation that the codon usage
table for C. elegans doesn't seem very useful for proteins that have very
low levels of product expression, in our case dpy-20 and some others.  Has 
this been commented on previously?  I sort of remember that the sort of
general feeling was, that as the protein abundance fell, the codon usage 
tended to even out.  Has anyone got real data on this issue?
