I would like the sequences of the cosmid vectors used by the genome
project if such sequences exist. I am especially interested in the
lorist 6 sequence at the moment. A good restriction map would be helpful
if the sequence is not available.
I must say that the lack easy access to sequences (or at least good
restriction maps) of vectors and other constructs is one of my pet
peeves. These days many people have the ability to give full sequences
of their constructs but usually don't. Many Scientist-hours (years) are
wasted because of the lack of good maps or the sequence information.
This really burns me up.
