Dear Fellow Worm Netters,
Now that the meeting's over I have a couple of retro-questions:
1) The new Worm Methods Book. At the end of one of the sessions there was an
announcement for details on the book (i.e., where, when, how, how much, etc.).
If I remember right they said that you could pick up the info on a paper at the
end of the session, unfortunately I didn't get one. Anybody get the paper, or
otherwise know the details?
2) As suggested at the end of this meeting, we should have an online
discussion/
suggestions for the next one. To start us off, I have one relatively minor
suggestion for the next meeting. (I am certain relatively major suggestions
will follow!) At the end of the meeting and as those pesky Arabidopsis people
began to filter in, I noticed that they had produced some really gorgeous
T-shirts (colors on black background). Why no shirts for us?
3) A question not related to the meeting per se. Does anyone have or have
tried
a protocol for doing single-worm RT-PCR (or for making consistently yielding
single-worm RNA preps)?
