I'm sorry that I did not make the meeting today in Madison. I am
getting married in August and really needed today to finish the
hauling and pulling before I start the painting. Oh well, perhaps
next time.
What I wanted to know is how do you folks out there use elegans in
the classroom??? I got some, mainly to show them to people in my
class (aging). But, I got thinking there probably are many things I
could get my embryology class to do with them next spring. So, I
thought I would ask and try them myself before then. In that class,
I have two labs per week so there is time to do something.
This past semester, I wound up having a lot of live stuff the class
could see and touch and they loved it. Usually my live stuff is
somewhat limited but this past semester the axolotls were mating
well, the Triturus was doing well, etc. So thought I would like to
try some other things.
