POSTDOCTORAL POSITION - MOLECULAR PARASITOLOGY
A position is available for a postdoctoral fellow to work on LIPID
MODIFICATION ENZYMES AND PROTEINS INVOLVED IN VESICULAR TRAFFICKING in
parasitic nematodes. Applicants should have training in and experience in
molecular biology techniques( screening expression libraries, sequencing,
expression and purification of recombinant proteins, etc).
A successful applicant will work in a group studying biochemical drug
targets, drug resistance and the molecular biology of parasitic nematodes.
The postdoc will work in a modest but modern facility in sunny and tropical
Uganda. The
laboratories are located in Kampala, Uganda.
The position will be for one year, renewable. The position is
available immediately.
Prior experience with parasites is not required.
