We are setting up to do injections of fluorescent tracers into live
embryos and would like to image the injections using a dissecting
microscope. I am interested in finding information on the following:
1) What dissecting microscopes are available which have the capability to
be used for fluorescent imaging?
2) Are there fluorescent light sources available that can be used to
illuminate a specimen on the stage of a dissecting microscope? (I have
heard about fluorescent ring illuminators but have no information about
them.) Also, are there fluorescent light sources with light pipes?
Any information or comments will be greatly appreciated.
