For a variety of reasons, my original plans for substitute moderation of
the CELEGANS newsgroup while I was on vacation didn't work out. I would
like to thank publicly my Wooster colleague Dean Fraga who graciously
stepped in at the last moment to help moderate the newsgroup while I was
away.
Because of the emergency replacement, there is a chance that some postings
may have slipped through the cracks in the past two weeks. Would you
please double-check that your recent submissions have been distributed to
the entire group? You can easily do so at

If I missed anything, please submit it again in the usual manner, and I'll
