Subject: Post-Doctoral Position/New York area
Applicants are invited for a Merck-funded post-doctoral position available
immediately to discover novel targets for the development of new cancer
therapies. This project involves using C. elegans genetics to identify new
genes that may regulate the process of angiogenesis in mammals. We are a
large interdisciplinary group focusing on identification of new
anti-proliferative agents using mechanism-based approaches. Please note
that while this position is at a pharmaceutical company, publication will be
encouraged. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. A background in C.
elegans research is preferred.
