Developmental/Cellular Biologist

The Waksman Institute at Rutgers University, New Brunswick (Busch
Campus),
invites applicants for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor
level. However, appointment at a higher rank will also be considered.
The
Institute has a scientifically diverse faculty and is especially
interested in outstanding applicants who employ C. elegans or Drosophila
for investigations of developmental genetics, although strong candidates
in all areas of developmental biology/cell biology/molecular genetics
will
be considered. This position will be a joint appointment with the
Department of Genetics. The Institute and the Department of Genetics are
an important part of the expanding program in Life Sciences at the Busch
campus where the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine and the
Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ) are also located
(http://waksman.rutgers.edu). We have a strong consolidated,
interdepartmental graduate program in Molecular Biosciences. The
position
offered is highly competitive with regard to start-up funds, facilities
