Has any work been done on habitat description for C. elegans? I have
classified C. elegans as a terrestrial animal. Lately, I've seen quite
a bit of testing designed as aquatic tests. I use the determinating
factor for the terrestrial/aquatic animal boundary as "air-breathing".
How does C. elegans (or for that matter all nematodes) fit into my
definition or is there a better determining factor?
Thanks for any pointers, thoughts, suggestions
