We have re-created the pictures directory on the celegans
ftp site so that you and others can obtain these images
without having to obtain the whole C. elegans database.
They are images of 'stained worms' taken from gene
expression experiments.
If you use them, please tell the 'authors'

and Donna Albertson ( email : dga at white.lbl.gov)
that you have found their images useful.
They have both gone to a lot of trouble to put
these images in our public database.
You can view the images using the freeware program xv
(for example).
