POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in our
lab to study the molecular basis of vulva formation in C. elegans. Currently
we are extending the analysis of cell migrations and cell fusions during
morphogenesis of the vulva (Development 126, 691-699).
We will study the architecture of the vulva in mutants to examine the
involvement of cell fusions and migrations during organogenesis.
We are looking for applicants with a strong interest in developmental
mechanisms preferably with training in genetics, cell or molecular biology.
This individual could carry out a research project in any area related to
our current research (see summary of our research interests on our Web
site), or a completely independent project might be initiated. More details
are available on request. The position is initially available for two years
but can be extended.
