worm survival during freezing

Dear C. elegans researchers,

I'm curious whether the standard freezing protocols, e.g.

http://www.bs.jhmi.edu/MBG/SeydouxLab/Protocols/FreezeWorms.html
http://www.dartmouth.edu/artsci/bio/ambros/protocols/MGH_protocols/koelle_prot/X
0006_freezing_worms.html

allow quantitative retrieval of the cryopreserved worms.
Can you perhaps name rough estimates as to the percentile of
survival?

My interests in regards to worm cryopreservation are mostly
academic, however as I'm employed by a cryopreservation research
company I need some hard numbers to motivate me looking into this
besides of just being my hobby-horse.

Is there at all interest in a much better worm freezing agent?

Is there a market for it, however small?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,
