Research Associate
-Molecular Biology-
You will be responsible for isolating deletion mutations in C. elegans,
including the growth and handling of C. elegans in 96-well format and
large-scale PCR. You will also carry out standard molecular biological
procedures. The position requires a BS/MS in biology or related science
and 2+ years' experience with PCR and standard molecular biological
techniques. Experience with genetics and with C. elegans, Drosophila
or other model animals is highly desirable. (Job# N98-113-SF)
Research Associate
-Nematode Biology-
You will carry out genetic and molecular biological experiments with C.
elegans to identify new targets for drug discovery. The position
requires a BA/BS/MS in biology or related science and at least 2 years'
relevant experience with genetics and molecular biology in model
organisms. Experience with C. elegans is strongly preferred. (Job#
