Parasitic nematode workshop

A workshop on parasitic nematodes will be held at the C. elegans meeting at
2-4 pm on Friday, June 4. As well as an opportunity for discussion, the
following short talks (12 min + 3 min questions) are scheduled:

Prema Arasu: "TGF-beta in pregnancy-induced reactivation of arrested
hookworm larvae."

Charlie Opperman: "Genetic analysis of parasitism in sedentary phytophagous
nematodes"

David Bird: "Regulatory networks in plant nematode feeding cell formation."

Andras Fodor: "Genetic analysis of entomopathogenic nematode/bacerium
symbiosis."

Horolma Pamjav: "Entomopathogenic nematode/bacterium symbiotic complexes:
Phylogenetics and coevolution."

Antonia Volgyi: "Desiccation tolerant transgenic entomopathogenic nematodes."

Sarwar Hashmi: "Role of cysteine protease(s) in C. elegans
embryogenesis/development."

Kirsten Crossgrove: TBA
