EMINENT SCHOLAR IN MOLECULAR GENETICS

THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY

The Department of Molecular Genetics at The Ohio State University is
searching for a faculty member at the full professor level to fill
the position of Ohio Eminent Scholar in Molecular Genetics, an
endowed chair that is funded in part by the State of Ohio. We are
interested in applicants with exceptional qualifications who are
using molecular genetic approaches to study important topics in
molecular, cell or developmental biology of eukaryotic organisms. A
highly competitive recruiting package is available, which includes an
attractive salary, generous laboratory space in a new building and
substantial funds for equipment, personnel and operating expenses.

The Ohio State University is undergoing a major expansion in the
Molecular Life Sciences. The Department of Molecular Genetics is a
young, vigorous and highly interactive department that is playing a
central role in this expansion. The Ohio State University is the
flagship institution of the state's higher education system. It is
located in the state capital, Columbus, which is a growing, yet
highly affordable, metropolitan area of about 1.5 million people.
