Postdoctoral research position in Paris
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Laboratory of
Genomic Biology to study the inductors and suppressors of neuron
dysfunction and death in C. elegans models of the Huntington's Disease
(see European Worm Meeting 2000, abstract 79). The focus of our
laboratory is the study of human neurodegenerative diseases by using
complementary methods (C. elegans genetics, yeast two-hybrid screen,
cellular biology and biochemistry, bioinformatics).
The laboratory is localized at the Human Polymorphism Study Center
(CEPH) in the center of Paris (Saint-Louis Hospital Campus), and has
direct access to excellent core facilities among which sequencing and
confocal analysis. There is no restriction on the citizenship of
applicants. Applicants should have a strong background in C. elegans genetic=
s.
