centrifuge

Dear collegues,

I am curious to know what kind of centrifuges (and what speed) you
are using to spin down your live worms.

In Boston we used to have the cheap IEC "pots" to spin 15ml Falcon
tubes.
Here in Basel, I had such a pot too.
Now, I'd like to get something new, but it seems one can't get these
old "pots" anymore.
What are "modern", cheap alternatives to spin down worms, and wash them?

I guess the usual standard is still 15ml Falcon tubes. Are there other
tubes
people use routinely?
What is better? fixed angle, or swinging (horizontal) rotors?

thank you for any replies.

Thomas Burglin
