Post-Doctoral Researcher
A post-doctoral position is available at the MRC Laboratory for
Molecular Cell Biology, a biomedical research institute based at
University College London. The post involves analysing the recently
characterised pathway by which serotonin modulates neurotransmitter
release in C.elegans (see Neuron 24, 231-242 and 335-346). The MRC
LMCB (www.ucl.ac.uk/lmcb) provides excellent support and training in
molecular biology and cell signalling; it also has expertise in a
number of model systems. In addition, UCL provides a strong and
thriving neurobiology research community. The Laboratory is located
in Central London within walking distance of the theatres,
restaurants, and nightlife.
The position comes with guaranteed funding for 3 years on the RF1A
scale from =A316,775 to =A325,213 plus =A32,134 London Weighting per annum.
